Materials

Unless otherwise stated, all of the metal findings (i.e., posts, s-hooks, leverbacks, hoops, etc.) are NICKEL-FREE and made of stainless steel, steel, or brass. 

Sterling silver, 18K, and 18K plated, when offered, will be labeled clearly. 

Each pair of earrings will come with a soft silicone back or a metal back. (I prefer the soft silicone for comfort and security so that will be the most often used fastener).  

Polymer clay is a non-toxic material that is "cured" in a household oven. It is durable but should be cared for as you would any piece of fine jewelry as it can get scratched. You can clean with a damp soft cloth but please avoid detergents as harsh chemicals can degrade the material (or touch your skin). You can re-shine matte pieces by hand with a soft cloth and a little elbow-grease.
